Cover for an album of classical music, recorded by The London Symphony Orchestra (Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien, Op. 45; Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, Op. 34) and The London Philharmonic Orchestra (Rossini’s William Tell Overture and Thieving Magpie Overture), conducted by Hermann Scherchen and released by Westminster Records. No date.

“Capriccio” is set in squooshed Queen Victoria, a set of ornate concave caps with trifurcated serifs and contour, or double inline. It’s shown in Photo-Lettering’s Alphabet Thesaurus Vol. 2 (1965). The photo of the Spanish dancer is credited to Tom Kelly (Kelley?).
