This over-the-top record cover, illustrated by Harry Rossit, seems to be styled after fantasy B movie posters, even though it’s not a soundtrack. It’s the third album from hard rock band Montrose, and their first after the departure of vocalist Sammy Hagar, who would later go on to join Van Halen.
Here’s another, comparatively lo-fi Use featuring multicolored ITC Pioneer on an angle. It even has the same letters – NASTROME almost is an anagram of MONTROSE.
