Founded in 1993 in Thonon-les-Bains as Art/Espace, Galerie Pome Turbil today resides in the heart of the city of Lyon. Renowned artists like Eric Dessert, Alexandre Hollan, and Alechinsky to name a few, were exhibited at the gallery.

Our studio was commissioned to create the visual identity and the website for this place. Our first thought was to define our share of graphic intervention in the creation of the visual identity of the gallery. We were looking for an elegant but also stencil-shaped historical typography for this visual identity. We often use stencil typography to mention the references of the work of art on its packaging, in particular on wooden cases used for shipping objects.

For Galerie Pome urban we chose Dala Floda and used it for the gallery logo and headlines; smaller texts are set in Times New Roman.
