This is the French pressing of the Malian griotte’s third release on Disques Espérance, originally released in 1985 on Ivorian label Sacko Production with identical artwork.
The cover makes striking use of Jackson, with what as far as I can tell is an improvised Ï, as it doesn’t appear in the dry-transfer lettering sheet and is notably unlike the glyph in the digital version. No designer is credited.
