This poster was made for the Graphic Matters festival in Breda (NL), an international biennial about graphic design and its impact on our daily live. The festival called on designers to create posters on the topic of Information Superpower!. Our poster was selected alongside 49 others and exhibited during the festival.

In 2018, 38.27 million people visited Thailand. The country has facilitated its administration, making EU passports owners exempt of Visas for a journey up to 30 days, 2% of the population of Sweden, one in every fifty, is going to Thailand every year. With winter arriving, streets and subways are filled with advertisement selling idyllic vacations to the white beaches of Thailand. What about Thai citizens visiting Sweden? In this work we are looking at the unbalanced relationship between Swedish tourists coming en masse every winter and Thai tourists forced to give as much as 14 documents to be allowed in Sweden. Tourist Visa, travel bans or exemption of visas, with this example, we aim to ask, who is allowed to travel freely and based on what?

We used Lack by Adrien Midzic (available from Velvetyne Type Foundry).
