A minimal poster from 1964 promoting a show of new painting by artist Sven Lukin at the Pace gallery in New York City. The solitary line of text in the design is set over an image of a Lukin painting (or the designer’s interpretation of his graphic style) in Venus Extended, using the later, recut forms of ‘E’ and ‘L’ with orthogonally-cut crossbar terminals.
