Branding and design work for the University of Southern California’s Springfest 2020, featuring both Nab (Nikol Safronova) and Neue Montreal (Pangram Pangram).
We wanted to create an visual identity that could transition from color to color seamlessly while fitting in a larger, overarching repertoire. Nab, a font created specifically for this brand identity, worked while to cohere each flyer.
In years past, USC’s Springfest has prominently featured the flower as a symbol of inflection in the season and attitude of students at the university. For this year’s concert, we decided to create semi-psychedelic flowers to represent the atmosphere of the concert as a whole as well as each individual act scheduled to perform.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Springfest 2020 was cancelled. However, we are grateful to have created this visual repertoire.
