From the Vuitton website:

The slimline Pochette Chaine GM sports a miniature metal carabiner, referencing the motif employed by Virgil Abloh throughout the Spring-Summer 2019 Collection.

Since his arrival at Louis Vuitton at position of Men’s Artistic Director, Virgil Abloh played a lot with the original logo and replaced it with the name set in different fonts, like this example here, using Motter Air. I always loved this typeface and find it unique, even with its hint of late 1980s, early 1990s / phototype-era Mecanorma style, it remains a classic for me.

It’s clearly evident that Abloh has a love for typography. Just look at his projects! I love this polyvalent and hyperactive artist (not everything he does of course, but a big part). He was apparently given carte blanche by Louis Vuitton looking at the recent Men’s collections!
