Fan designed by Magdalena Heliasz, published in French by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Witold Gombrowicz’ death. Born in 1904, the Polish writer and playwright died in 1969.
The author of Ferdydurke had an incredible inventive approach to words – the leaflet presents a selection of various phrases present in Gombrowicz’ writings. Arranged to form Gombrowicz surname, they serve as an invitation or teaser to the author’s inspiring books. Archival photographs form the archive of his wife, Rita Gombrowic, were printed on the back of the cards.
The fan was printed in letterpress with silver hotstamping.
