Athens State Orchestra Campaign 2018–2019

The 2018–2019 campaign for the National State Orchestra of Athens, oldest orchestral musical ensemble in Greece, is an artistic exploration of the parallel between music and nature, or more specifically the musician and its instrument.


We acquired a clear and neat approach in capturing the essence of the idea, basing the graphic style on a Swiss grid and a contemporary font (Sporting Grotesque from Velvetyne), and by creating digital collages that visualise the concept in a sort of anatomical study. This way, the eye-popping images gained the space and attention to become an iconic campaign.

The design uses the Greek version of Sporting Grotesque, designed by George Triantafyllakos.
