Música Mundo* is a music festival focused on promoting the business side of music, promoting concerts, talks and pitch meetings, bringing together professionals from different backgrounds within the music industry, from all around the world.
Estúdio Lampejo was responsible for the event’s 2018 identity, and took it as an opportunity to use the then recently released Graúna, taking full advantage of the typeface’s single, heavy weight for logo, titles, backgrounds and stage graphics.
Graúna’s weight (and especially its width), however, can become quite difficult to manage in smaller sizes, vertical formats, longer words etcetera. For this reason, the designers paired it with Akzidenz-Grotesk for body copy, and Akzidenz-Grotesk Condensedfor subheadings.
