Bauhaus Prisma K (#8155) with filled in purple counters, on the cover of the Encyclopedia of Pop/Rock by David Dachs. This multiline typeface with a thick-thin-thin-thick-thin rhythm is one of 16 variants in the Bauhaus Prisma & Prisma Bauhaus series, drawn by (or under the supervision of) Ed Benguiat and added to the Photo-Lettering library in 1970.
The photo-illustrated book comprises 400 entries on pop and rock music. It was first published in paperback by Scholastic Book Services, New York, in 1972. A second printing with the same cover design followed in 1975.
