Disordine Lusso Recesso Bellezza Tempo is a collection of thoughts and poems mixed with photographs that tell the story of a dried-up metropolis on a post-pandemic period. It shows the distillate of Milan, a destroyed and tired city, center of the Covid-19, and its population left on itself. It tries to read a new personal life story through people’s faces covered by disposable masks.
The title, Disordine (disorder) Lusso (luxury) Recesso (stash) Bellezza (beauty) Tempo (time), represents all the personalities contained in the city of Milan and each chapter is dedicated to one of them, accompanied by representative photographs and poems. Neue Helvetica is use throughout. Started as a personal project, the booklet is available on request.
