An early release by Iraqi singer Qahtan al-Attar. According to Apple Music the album was released in 1978, but according to Linotype the display font family used here—Al-Harf al-Jadid —didn’t appear until 1980, so we must doubt that this is the original album art. No designer is credited.
On the front cover, Al-Harf al-Jadid One (الحرف الجديد ١) is used for the album title, يا فيض, and Al-Harf al-Jadid Two (الحرف الجديد ٢, the outlined version) for the artist name, قحتان العطّار. On the inside, the reverse is true. The Arabic song titles and other information are set in Yakout (ياقوت) and the Latin is set in Helvetica.
