Couché is a uncommon picture book, an inventory of people lying down.
From cradle to tomb, on the macadam, in bed, in a truck at the border, or on the beach … We observe life there, lying down.

Couché is intended for young children but offers a reflection to which adults will appreciate. It is a book that is meant to be universal: sometimes light, sometimes funny, tender, trivial, or tragic, but always playful.

The book by Vincent Mathy was published by Articho in 2020. It has 64 pages measuring 175×100 mm and was offset-printed in four Pantone colors on Munken print 150g/m², with Efalin fine linen for the cover. The font in use is GroteskRemix Bold by Benoît Bodhuin.
