Posted as part of a little survey about websites for conferences on typography and graphic design – how do these specialist events present themselves typographically, in 2013?
The 10th edition of Tag der Schrift is a rather small event organized by the local vocational school of design. Its program has some high-profile and international names, though. The website makes heavy use of stripes – too much for my taste, I almost missed the menu on the start page. Although some of this year’s speakers have created fonts for web use, the designer of the site preferred an unrelated nondescript font from Google.
