Brazil and the South Observatory (OBS) initiative, from the Center for Studies and Articulation of South-South Cooperation (São Paulo, Brazil), has the support of Oxfam and promotes transparency and debate about Brazilian action in the Global South.
Seeking to monitor and measure budget flows related to CSS in Brazil, OBS has produced À procura da Cooperação Sul-Sul no Orçamento Federal (“Looking for South-South cooperation in the federal budget”), a publication that aims to present a clear map of how much Brazil has contributed in each area, through the identification and visualization of payments made by the different agencies of the Federal Government.
The mixture of a contemporary and precise typeface family (Nitti Grotesk) with a serif made for editorial typography (Mercury Text) reflects the nature of the subject addressed.
