In 2020, Sébastien Paradis designed a special edition packaging for the natural cosmetics and wellness brand Naturiste. Created in 1968, this brand was one of the first to open shops specialized in naturopathy and natural well-being in Québec, and is still one of the leaders on the market.

The products in this line are all dedicated to aromatherapy and offer either sets of essential oils only, or box sets with diffusers. The whole design uses Kessler from Production Type, designed by Alaric Garnier. It’s set in harmoniously arranged caps, making the words look like they’re floating in the air. Each box features a different pastel color: the choice of tones reminds us of colors found in plants, giving these artificial objects a fairly natural look. At the same time, the packaging conveys a sense of preciousness: the hot-foil stamping makes the different product names look like monograms, while Kessler’s caps, with their light weight and contrast, bring the delicacy of an inscriptional style. The packages seem to contain jewels – which are, in this case, treasures taken from nature.
