Sitoh inc. designed a gift package for Ishida Coffee, a coffee roaster and cafe located in a quiet Japanese residential area of Sapporo.
“Coffee and People”, “Coffee and Space”, “Coffee and Music” are just a few of the many elements that combine to make up Ishida Coffee’s approach to coffee. This softly wrapped package can be used for two types of beans by changing the caulking position.
Motoi Shito’s transcendental design, selected for the Tokyo Type Directors Club Awards 2021 is solely using Grand Slang by Nikolas Type, in an effortless, subtle and elegant way. Grand Slang’s Roman style is used with some alternates (s, o) from the B-Side style, and paired with the Italic for “Coffee”.
