“Change of Heart” poster

This poster was created for the online poster platform Posterjam and was featured in the Romanian Design Week 2020.

The concept was conceived during the month of July. Posterjam had “change” as the word of the month, so the task was to create a poster with that in mind.

The idea behind this poster was to create a feeling of hope in times of need, the hope that everything is prone to change. A world pandemic forcibly brought a situation where you had to change many things that were daily life for humanity, as well as adapt to a new norm.

Bearing that in mind, the goal of the poster was to remind to people that a “change of heart” in terms of people’s own responsibility concerning their treatment of the planet is in their hands and “comes from within”. Change is not always a negative concept; the negative outcome of a world pandemic, can bring a change towards something better for the future to come, concerning people’s personal habits, whether these are overconsumption, pollution, waste or treatment of livestock.

The exhibition took place during September 2020. The initiative was part of the Romanian Design Week 2020, under the theme Change, in collaboration with Posterjam. The poster was exhibited at the 25M2 gallery in Bucharest.
