Juan Pedro Rastellino’s La Carneada narrates the story of a group of friends raising a pig during one year in order to produce sausages of the finest quality. With special features such as pages you have to rip open with a knife, the book design by Ezequiel Cafaro perfectly matches the story.
The pink cloth cover, printed with the title in Tenez, brings forward its quirky, expressive letter R, matched with inkless relief on grey cardboard that lends quite a bit of poise to the cover.
It’s really nice to see the lightest range of weights in Tenez used inside the book as well. The design is exquisite and I particularly enjoyed seeing the pink pages covered in display size type.
