Ten great composers told by as many great interpreters of our time, in a dialogue between notes and words, past and present. The composers mark the cornerstones of the history of music, from Bach’s Baroque to Mahler’s twentieth century. The interpreters all boast a long history linked to each composer, which almost always dates back to the years of childhood: for this reason the fil rouge of the ten portraits is the phrase “My first …”. Each portrait will be accompanied by two cards, which illustrate the salient data of the composer and performer from time to time.
