Auriol in use for the cover of The Magus Dell by John Fowles. First published in 1965, this is a paperback edition by Dell (#5162) from 1973. It uses the original cover art by Tom Adams, but with different type. The font in use appears to be (a phototype version of) Auriol Champlevé. This open cut is different in several details, most prominently in the a, which has a diagonal stem, unlike in Auriol. In this design, it was filled in with a second color.
