“Battleship is a strategy type guessing game for two players. It is played on ruled grids on which each player’s fleet of ships (including battleships) are marked. The locations of the fleets are concealed from the other player. Players alternate turns calling ‘shots’ at the other player’s ships, and the objective of the game is to destroy the opposing player’s fleet.” – Wikipedia

The pictures shown are for the 1984 edition of the Battleship game, released by Milton Bradley.

The word “Battleship“ uses ITC Machine, with a white/orange gradient, and a black stroke around it. The sub-title uses ITC Kabel Bold. On the left side of the box top, the “Ages 8 to Adult“ text uses Helvetica Bold.
