Typographia·1, created, designed, and letterpress printed by Leonard F. Bahr in 1976 at the Adagio Press, Harper Woods, Michigan, using handset metal type, notably Pascal, Palatino, and Jaguar, as shown here. Published as a sewn booklet of 28 text pages plus cover. There was a follow-up publication, Typographia·2. The private press work of Leonard F. Bahr was commemorated in an exhibition at the University of Michigan Library in 1993, together with the publication of Adagio: A Checklist, edited by Wesley B. Tanner and Erik C. Alstrom, with a preface by Paul Hayden Duensing.
