Irregular is a German skateboard magazine, based in Munich, Germany. The magazine is published four times per year and features professional skateboarders, trips and events on 128 pages, with a lot of photographs by Fabian Reichenbach.
Art director Stefan Gottwald chose a combination of the Spitzkant and Ardena font families by Julien Fincker for this year’s issues. He combines the fonts in very different and playful ways for headlines and copytext. Each article gets its own look and feel, in a very modern and high-class way.
You can see the first issue of the year here. This is also the first issue to include an English translation part in the back of the magazine.
