All-lowercase Haas Inserat-Grotesk / Neue Aurora VIII on the cover of the debut album by English pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck (b. 1936) as released by Parrot Records in the USA in 1967.

The album opens up with “Release Me (and Let Me Love Again)”. Written by Eddie “Piano” Miller and Robert Yount in 1949, the song had been covered numerous times. Humperdinck’s version became the most successful:

It reached number one in the UK Singles Chart on 2 March and stayed there for six weeks, keeping “Penny Lane”/“Strawberry Fields Forever”, by The Beatles, off the top spot in the process. Humperdinck’s recording stayed in the charts for a record fifty-six consecutive weeks.
