  1. As far as Ad Lib is concerned, the SoftMaker version is the cheapest, but also has fewer glyphs and the worst lines: see minuscule-s!

    If you need Cyrillic glyphs, you should buy the ParaType version. This foundry gets the data from the source like Bitstream anyway, which can also be seen from some of the same anchor point shifts. If you need Greek and Cyrillic, it’s best to use Bitstream’s WGL version.

    The line widths of Bitstream and ParaType are the most consistent. The overall gray value seems to me to be the best of the Image Club version. Here the capital letters stand out from the minuscules in a more contrasting manner: the differences in line thickness also have more contrast.
