Three wide typefaces used together on the cover of a live album by Louis Armstrong, “actually recorded at the Crescendo Jan. 21, 1955” and released by Decca Records the same year. While the title is set in Egyptian Expanded, “Vol. 1” uses the spikier Latin Wide. “Gene Norman presents” is in Venus Extended. The uncredited design showing a trumpet and a towel with “LA” initials on a chair was also used for the second and third part, with different colors.
