Gillies Gothic set on an angle, with hyper-extended glyphs, for the German sleeve for “Rock Your Baby”. Released in summer 1974 as the debut single by George McCrae (b. 1944), it became a massive international hit – and one of the first hits of the disco era, selling 11 million physical copies worldwide. “Tophit in U·S·A” is set in caps from Futura Bold Italic.
