Great Songs of Faith was recorded by Nelson Eddy (1901–1967) with chorus and orchestra conducted by Leon Arnaud (1904–1991), and released by Columbia Masterworks in 1951. According to Wikipedia, Eddy –

was an American actor and baritone singer who appeared in 19 musical films during the 1930s and 1940s, as well as in opera and on the concert stage, radio, television, and in nightclubs. A classically trained baritone, he is best remembered for the eight films in which he costarred with soprano Jeanette MacDonald. He was one of the first “crossover” stars, a superstar appealing both to shrieking bobby soxers and opera purists, and in his heyday, he was the highest paid singer in the world.

The cover design is by Alex Steinweiss, who used a Didot for the large words in lowercase letters. Steinweiss paired it with the similar Bodoni for the sond names and credits. The stylized handwriting used for “Masterworks” and “in” is his famous “Steinweiss Scrawl”. See also this cover for an album by Rudolf Serkin from the same year, where Steinweiss used the same combination.
