Gray’s School of Art’s Digital Degree Show 2021
Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, UK collaborated with Design and Code to create an immersive 2021 digital degree show titled “Onwards”. It showcases exciting and inspiring projects of the undergraduate artists and designers across a range of disciplines including painting, contemporary art practice, fashion and textiles, communication design, photography and three-dimensional design.
For the show’s identity, we aimed to show the process of learning, the variety of the school’s disciplines, and the collaboration between the students. We chose the typeface Black Mamba by Swiss Typefaces because of its varied widths, shapes and unpredictable, experimental nature. Tenon by Signal is used as the text typeface.
