Colin Brignall’s Countdown (Letraset, 1965) is the star on the blank cassettes from Winfield’s Alpha series. The boxy typeface with the characteristic thicks and thins inspired by MICR numerals is used in all caps, and paired with Helvetica for the small info.

Winfield was an own-brand by the British retailer Woolworths Group. According to 45spaces, the shown Alpha Plus/Alpha Super cassettes were made in Portugal in 1979.
