I wou dat ik anders was (“I wish I were different”) is a Dutch-language youth novel, written by Paul Biegel (1925–2006) and published in 1967 by Uitgeverij Holland in Haarlem. The book was translated into the English as The Seven-times Search.
This is the first edition, illustrated by Babs van Wely. The typeface is José Mendoza y Almeida’s Pascal, released in 1960 by Lettergieterij Amsterdam voorheen N. Tetterode.
