Annabelle magazine (2021)
Annabelle is a Swiss women’s magazine with a long history in not only covering the fields of contemporary fashion, cosmetics and lifestyle, but also political and social issues, including feminism, sex-related problems and the status of women living in other regions, featuring articles concerning the sexuality of women in the Arab world or Africa.
Founded in 1938 and published in German language, the magazine is addressing various taboo topics in a surprisingly clear and unembellished manner, without losing touch with a traditional, entertaining women’s fashion publication: it combines shocking truths with a new, beautiful, female elegance.
Starting from March 2021, Annabelle got a striking visual makeover including new and modern typefaces. Grand Slang is used for the massive display appearance with its italics for the pagination, paired with Everett for the Annabelle logotype and Agrandir as a strong workhorse.
