A great deal of tightly spaced Skjald caps, on Klaus Witt’s cover for … Where The Groupies Killed The Blues. The second album of German prog rock/heavy metal band Lucifer’s Friend was recorded by Conny Plank and released by Vertigo Records in 1972.

After disbanding in 1982, the band reunited in 2014, with three of the original members. Lead singer John Lawton died earlier this year, on 29 June 2021.
