F37 F51 by F37 Foundry in use by artistic directors Soko Hwang and Ji Kim for the 2021 identity of Drifts Festival, a multidisciplinary art event that takes place annually in different regions of Helsinki, Finland. F37 F51 is in use across the identity, including their digital platform, the poster, and catalog design. It’s supported by Suisse Int’l (incl. Condensed) by Swiss Typefaces.

Drifting from one place to another is a critical method of alternative urban geography, being a temporary intervention into the commercialized city landscape. It is aiming to widen the public’s fixed everyday life and monotonous patterns through encountering unknown territories and familiarising diverse environments. Drifts festival as an event platform is based on this drifting method that contributes to change public awareness on historically fixed geographical environments.
