100 years insulin Swiss stamp

Conception and design of the stamp issued by the Swiss Post on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of insulin.

Since 1921, the diagnosis of type 1 diabetes no longer means a death sentence. The reason for this is the invention of insulin. This groundbreaking discovery is on a par with the antibiotic. The three-dimensional model visualized on the stamp shows the tertiary structure of an insulin molecule and at the same time resembles a garland. Because: there is something to celebrate. For the typography, we used our own Diglû, a font with pictograms.
