Artwork for an album of a live recording of a 1973 concert by the Cecil Taylor Unit, recorded at Town Hall in New York City and released as Spring of Two Blue-J’s on Taylor’s own Unit Core label in 1974. The design is credited to Don Mathe and Li Baily with a photograph by jazz photographer Katsuji Abe and Davison Epanoul with biform glyphs and the sharp alternates for c and e.
An unedited recording of the entire concert was released digitally by Oblivion Records in February of 2022.
