Banner seen at St. Mary School, Los Gatos, California. “Class of 2028” is set in Duo Dunkel. The other fonts are Andalusia and Amarylli Blossom.
I had just recently come across Alfred Finsterer because I arranged to have his Cocktail Ornaments recast in metal by Rainer Gerstenberg in Germany, who holds the Stempel and Klingspor matrices. While researching the Cocktail design, I came across the Duo typeface, and was surprised to discover it in use on a random banner in a nearby town.
