A Place To is a new, unique co-living concept for students across Europe. Closely linked with BIG architects, the company approached e-Types in need of a name and brand identity. With the concept’s young, fresh and independent attitude in mind, the brand first needed a name to capture the company’s essence and make it stand out.
e-Types came up with the name A Place To, which is abbreviated to A.P.T; with apt meaning to be skilled at something. Also, it’s short for apartment. The name had a great open-ended feel to it, and left room for the tenants to fill in what this place will be to them. The name also generates the brand communication, and is a big part of the colourful and vibrant design system.
