Silhouette is a new independent French fashion magazine which focuses on luxury, haute couture, craftsmanship, jewelry, perfume and illustration. The magazine, with a logo based on Canopée by VJ-Type, is divided into twelve parts, each with a different opening typeface and color, with three different paper textures for a total of approximately 300 pages.
The first issue focuses on Japan and features a conversation with Japanese creator Mame Kurogouchi, a focus on the late Kenzo Takada work, the art of kimonos, yakuzas… In addition to a 32-pages photoshoot in Japan by Takay and a studio photoshoot by Mario Simon Lafleur, there is an exclusive photo report in Guerlain and Chanel workshops.
