Typographic cover of a publication with papers from an an international congress and exposition sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers, held at Cobo Hall (today known as Huntington Place), Detroit, Michigan, February 23–27, 1981.
The title is shown in Quicksilver, designed by Dean Morris and issued by Letraset in 1976. The venue and date is added in the IBM Selectric version of Univers. I assume that the different shades of yellow and orange are just an effect of uneven tanning, but they really add to the graphic quality here.
