For the documentation and publication of the most valuable donation ever received by the Stiftung Saarländischer Kulturbesitz, we were able to conceive and design a book that was shown in the context of the exhibition in the Alte Sammlung.
We saw the subtle interweaving of the typography as an exciting contrast of the historical pieces and the content into the present time – here Ogg Display (link to the courtly “culture”, which is also used by the House of Sussex as a citation) and there Poppins, an open source font, as a link to the Populus ;-)
Printed on GardaPat Bianca. The entire typography was printed in Pantone CoolGray 11. The full chapter openers harmonize with the most unexciting and noble cover material and endpapers in Surbalin Seda from Peyercover in the color graphite.
