ENS Éditions catalog

The catalogs of publisher ENS Éditions (Éditions de l’École normale supérieure, Lyon) feature the same two typeface families as used on their book covers, previously shown on Fonts In Use: Zénith by Matthieu Cortat and Maax by Damien Gautier, both distributed by 205TF

While the typography on the book covers – in particular in the book interiors – takes on a serving role in relation to the content, the same typefaces show themselves at their most expressive in the publisher’s catalogs. In contrast to the book series, where Zénith is used for body copy, the serif typeface of the ENS visual identity has been given a leading role.
