SALT. is a new communications studio, working with architects and designers to help publicise their work.
Working closely with the founder Celeste Bolte, Middle Name developed a brand centred on the core message: ‘Telling the stories of great design’. This straightforward statement is descriptive of what SALT does, but also sets the tone for how they work with clients, taking the smoke and mirrors out of communications and PR. The bespoke wordmark is supported by Studio Feixen’s Noi Grotesk, a typeface with real clarity that also offers a wealth of crafted details and glyphs, mirroring the level of detail often enjoyed in the best architecture. These glyphs – along with pops of bright orange – add depth to the brand both in print and online, where it comes to life through animation and interaction.
