Avaler la Terre (“Swallow the Earth”) is a manga by Osamu Tezuka. It was translated to the French by Jacques Lalloz and Patrick Honnoré and published by Éditions FLBLB. It depicts the story of a scorned woman who makes her seven daughters promise to deliver the society of men to chaos, starting with issues with money and morals.
The whole book is set in Emilie Rigaud’s Pachinko (A is for fonts), a rounded font deeply rooted in Japanese culture, from which it derives its first inspiration and final name. The title uses Jérémy Landes’ Le Murmure (Velvetyne).
