This Is Short
This Is Short is a collaborative project by the European Short Film Network. It is a central access point for mainly European short films: with joint programming, shared programs, and one common gateway to the online presentations of four European film festivals, thus creating a joint online festival experience.
The project was developed as a truly European vision, at a time when solidarity and cooperation seem more important than ever and rethinking Europe and the European film and festival landscape seems inevitable.
The idea behind the visual identity is built around squeezing typography just like short films can be seen as squeezed, condensed versions of regular movies.
The typeface is GT Flexa. We used ist capabilities as a variable font, as animation was a big part of that project. The website and the Instagram account mainly uses the Regular and the X Compressed Medium styles. See more images and animations on the Uniforma Studio website.
