Prague-based design studio Kapitola used F37 Foundry’s F37 Flux for Hvězdonauti, a Czech children’s sci-fi book series written by Martin Šinkovský and published by Mladá fronta. The use of movement with unusual kinks and bends of F37 Flux gives a futuristic look whist remaining playful. Perfect to fight against exploding bubbles!
The year is 2071. Earth is almost uninhabitable for humans. The only hope is to find a new planet with conditions for life. A spacecraft with fusion engines, which would be able to reach the far corners of space, is ready to go after many years of research and work by the world’s top scientists and designers. Now all that remains is to decide who will be the passengers. A perfectly matched crew of adults with professional training– or a bunch of brilliant but rambunctious children that Dr. Adams collected from various parts of the world? There is a rivalry between two teams that can decide the future of humanity. Will Liu, Koko, Boris, Ark and Venado win? Will these five children demonstrate better skills for a space flight than adults or not?
The well-matched crew of the interstellar rocket ship, Hope and their personal robots embark on a mission to find a habitable planet where the human race can continue. The number one task is to reach the River, or the mighty stream of sarriax – the newly detected particles floating through space. Will the crew get used to life in hibernation? Will they be able to make contact with the Pirx Lunar Base and Dr. Adams during the flight? And how will they deal with massive barrages of explosive bubbles? Go into action with Star Donuts and feast on the original dishes of their smelly robot chef along the way!
