In December 2017, the Peruvian Football Federation and Umbro presented their new home jersey for the 2018 FIFA World Cup – their first World Cup appearance in 36 years. After qualifying via a playoff match against New Zealand, Peru failed to advance beyond the group stage of the tournament, held in Russia.
Italian Plate No2 was used for names and numbers.
